The seven member Executive
Board, duly elected by the membership, is authorized and
empowered to conduct and manage the affairs of the Local
Union.
Ken Lundgren
became a Teamster in November 1974, drove trucks for Roadway
beginning in August 1983, was appointed to the staff of 542
as a Business Representative in March 1991 as well as
Executive Board Recording Secretary in March 1994. He moved
to the Executive Board as President in 2002 then
Secretary-Treasurer in January 2006. . Ken participates in
many community charities, and enjoys music and a variety of
sports in his spare time.
Phil Farias
was a volunteer Organizer for four years prior to becoming a
full-time Business Representative / Organizer for Teamsters
Local 542 in July of 2000. Then
moved to the Executive Board as President in January 2006.
Cliff Cunningham
began his Teamster membership with Fedmart Stores in
February 1971, then in August 1979 started at Price Club
where he has been active. In April 1998, Cliff joined the
Executive Board and in 2002 he became Vice President of
Local 542. In his spare time he enjoys working with youth
sports and restoring old cars.
Patty Collins
has been a Teamster since December 1979. She started working
for Costco (Price Club) in August 1979 and is still active
as a Shop Steward. In January 2001, Patty became the
Executive Board Recording Secretary for Local 542. Patty
enjoys camping, cooking, creative crafts and trips on the
Harley.
Bill Wendell
has been a Teamster since February 1965, and recently
retired from Roadway Express. Bill has been an Executive
Board Trustee since August 1995. Currently he’s employed at
the San Diego Convention Center. He enjoys billiards and
riding on trains.
Dana Rusnak
started with United Parcel service for Christmas in 1987. He
became an Executive Board Trustee in January 2001. Dana
enjoys camping, fishing and golfing.
Jim MacLean
is a California native. Married his beautiful wife in
Carson, California in 1969. God blessed them with two
fantastic daughters. They moved to Escondido in 1978, to
work for Escondido Foods which became U.S. Food
Service/Joseph Webb Division. He became an Executive Board
Trustee in May 2003. He enjoys travel, motorcycles & hot
rods. He loves his family, grandkids, his God and his
church.
