The following classes are available to all San Diego Teamsters through the San Diego County Construction Teamsters Training and Retraining Trust.

DRIVER TRAINING PROGRAMS

BRUSH-UP COURSE ⁿ                                                $ 300.00
                                                                                                      » 8 Hrs

• Walk around, pre-trip and post- instruction.

• Use of truck for driving practice.

• Use of truck for DMV drive test.

^{n Driver must be or have been previously licensed.}

INTERMEDIATE COURSE ⁿ                                        $ 1,200.00
                                                                                                      » 40 Hrs

• Use of truck for driving practice. (Behind the wheel driving includes on-road, job site, loaded and unloaded instruction and practice.)

• Walk around inspection, pre and post-trip instruction.

• Use of truck for DMV drive test.

^{n Driver must have a license or learners permit.}

BEGINNERS COURSE                                               $ 3,000.00
                                                                                                    » 120 Hrs

• Preparation for DMV written tests (commercial, air brake, combination class A tests and doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.)

• Complete familiarization with truck including “walk around” pre-trip and post-trip procedures.

• Behind the wheel driving includes on-road, job site loaded and unloaded instruction and practice.

• Use of truck for DMV drive test.
