Scholarships

• Academic Scholarships award $1,000 to $10,00 for high school seniors planning to attend a four-year college or university.
• Vocational/Training Programs award from $500 to $2,000 for use at community colleges or trade schools.

How Are Scholarships Awarded?

Academic Scholarship: Areas that are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee include, but are not limited to, academic accomplishments, community service, letters of recommendation (if a Canadian or Puerto Rican applicant), and financial need.

Training and Vocational Programs Scholarship: Areas that are reviewed by the Committee include, but are not limited to, personal statement, essay, letters of recommendation, and financial need.

Applying For Scholarships

The application process is open for academic or vocational/training program scholarships for children and financial dependents of Teamsters members, including BLET, BMWED, and GCC members.
